I get frustrated because I want to finish a project once I drag everything out to start playing. I have a huge mound of clay that has been sitting on the kitchen table for 4 days now. It went from the start of a face, and progressed back to a blob of clay. lol<BR/>I think it must be like writers block. It is always worth it though, and it is never a waste of time to "play" with our crafts and such- because that is how ideas form. (From your post, I'm not exactly sure which activity you are thinking about deleting.) You sound so much like me...often frustrated by our art and creativity, feeling not "productive" enough, depressed that more people aren't reading our blogs. <BR/>If you're at all like me, you will never be able to give up art. At times I want to set fire to all my supplies and never set foot inside another Michael's, but I know that my annoying little muse --as fickle as she can be -- will be back to prod me in the butt and hand me a paintbrush. As far as the blog goes, I have been very tempted to hit the delete button on that, but for a short while it was very satisfying to journal part of my life and have a few people care enough to read it. I think once I have a few pieces of art to post, I'll gain some of that enthusiasm back. But until then... no harm, no foul. Blogging without obligation, right? How about art without obligation too? I know... it's easy to say when you're not stuck in the quagmire. I am slowly catching up and starting to re-follow the blogs I used to have feeds for. I went back to work in August and on top of full-time work have a total 2 hour commute each day and then HW with a 7yr old and that "normal" life stuff. Just a different sort of stress, I guess. Not many follow my blog anymore and it's gone to more of a "once ina blue moon totally unrelated to art post" sort of blog. I say keep your blog. Post to it. Who cares if anyone reads it...you will post to it...if you build it they will come sort of thing. I don't delete mine because I know that slowly I'll find my muse and I'll work art back into my life. I just try not to stress about it right now. Do you follow SuziBlu's blog?
